After 20 years, the Keroro Robo is back. Completely redesigned and more posable than ever before!
The Keroro Robo is the machine piloted by Sergeant Keroro, the leader of the Keroro Platoon, who botched his invasion of Earth so thoroughly that he now lives with the Hinata family. The design is charmingly appropriate: a classic super-robot build combined with a bright green frog head topped with a golden V-fin. The last Keroro Robo plamo was released in 2006; for the 20th anniversary and in time for the new movie, it is now arriving as an HG for the first time. The difference is clear: modern construction, significantly more articulation, and a level of detail the old line never had.
What defines the new Keroro Robo:
-
Keroro Action System: The newly developed joint system is the core of this kit. Despite the round, compact design, expressive action poses are possible, from a battle stance with a shield to a full-flight pose. This is exactly what the old Kero-Pla kits couldn't do.
-
Complete equipment right out of the box: A rifle with a red tip, a shield with a star emblem, a handgun, and a melee weapon. Plus, clear green effect parts for beam blades in multiple lengths, allowing you to display sword strikes and firing moments immediately.
-
Backpack unit with its own trick: The large backpack with extendable wings and thrusters is more than just decoration. It completely changes the silhouette, turning the stocky frog mecha into a true flying machine—a highlight that Bandai explicitly emphasized in the announcement.
-
Beginner-friendly snap-fit: Color-separated right out of the box, no glue or paint needed. With around 8 runners, you simply snap the parts together. Ideal for beginners or as a relaxed project between two larger kits.
⚠️ IMPORTANT WARNING: This item is a detailed model kit and not a standard toy. Not suitable for children under 3 years old – there is a serious choking hazard due to small parts!
