You screw the armor plates on using real tools. That's not how you build a Gunpla!
The Scopedog is the antithesis of a hero mecha. A cheap, mass-produced factory item, thinly armored, expended in large numbers, and affectionately celebrated in the VOTOMS community as the worst machine you could ever sit in. That is precisely what makes it an icon of the real-robot genre. This version features it in the Berkoff Squad configuration from the OVA Pailsen Files, the special unit in which Chirico Cuvie serves. Not a shiny prototype, but a piece of equipment that looks like it has seen action.

Bolt-on snap with real tools: The kit includes a small wrench that you use to set tiny bolts onto the armor plates. This isn't just a decorative detail, but something that changes the entire building experience. You assemble the machine piece by piece, rather than just snapping it together. Anyone who has done this once understands why this series has cult status in the VOTOMS scene.

Mechanics straight from the animation: The camera eye rotates and can be shifted laterally. The entire mecha folds into its "Down Form" via a sequence of joints, which is the exact entry position the pilot uses to jump into the cockpit. The glide wheels on the soles of the feet extend, and the turn picks can be deployed.

Complete unit armament: Heavy machine gun with interchangeable barrel lengths (short and long), detailed right down to the internal components. In addition, a rapid-fire gun, missile pack, attachable grenades on the sides, and a special backpack with a grappling hook. Two Chirico Cuvie figures in scale are included, one standing and one sitting, along with water-slide decals and stickers.

Snap-fit, no glue required: Despite the tool gimmick, this is a classic snap-fit model kit. The parts are molded in separate colors; you don't need glue, just a pair of side cutters. You can paint it if you like, but you don't have to.
