⚠️ IMPORTANT PRO TIP: Handling Gold Foil!
Please note that these hot foil decals are extremely delicate and require different handling than standard decals.

The Material: While normal decal paint consists of elastic acrylic ink, gold foil is an ultra-thin, real metal layer. Metal does not stretch! If the decal is bent, pulled, or squeezed too much, the layer will tear significantly faster or the edges will chip off.

Application: Allow the sheet to soak in lukewarm water for long enough until the decal can be slid effortlessly from the backing paper. Never use force to remove it.

Caution with Softeners: Be extremely sparing with aggressive decal softeners (such as Mark Softer). These will melt the soft carrier film underneath – but since the rigid gold layer does not melt with it, the decal can break or wrinkle unattractively in the worst case.

The Finish: If you want to retain the brilliant shine, seal the areas with the gold decals with a glossy clear coat (Gloss Coat). A matte coat (Flat Coat) will destroy the metallic effect.
